CAF sets 2026-27 Champions League and Confederation Cup calendar
CAF has published the calendar for the 2026-27 CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup. Preliminary-round matches begin in September, while the group stages are scheduled from November through January.
CAF has announced the match calendar for the 2026-27 CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup seasons.
The first preliminary round is scheduled to begin with first-leg matches from 4 to 6 September 2026. Return matches are planned for 11 to 13 September.
The second preliminary round is scheduled for 16 to 18 October, followed by return fixtures from 23 to 25 October.
CAF says the group stages of the two club competitions are scheduled between November 2026 and January 2027.
The governing body has also set a May 2027 window for the finals, with both competitions due to conclude during the period from 9 to 31 May.
CAF stated that the prize money remains USD 6 million for the CAF Champions League winner and USD 4 million for the CAF Confederation Cup winner.
