Morocco prepares with Spain and Portugal for the 2030 FIFA World Cup

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation has continued its preparations for the 2030 FIFA World Cup, which Morocco is set to stage alongside Spain and Portugal.
The subject was discussed during an FRMF executive committee meeting held on 16 July 2026.
FRMF president Fouzi Lekjaa addressed the preparations at the opening of the meeting and described the organization of the tournament as a strategic project.
The federation highlighted the importance of preparing well in advance for an event that will place Morocco, Spain and Portugal under significant international attention.
The FRMF communication also stressed continuous work and coordination throughout the different stages of preparation.
The 2030 project forms part of a long-term period of football infrastructure and organizational development for Morocco.
